The Winter Semester of Dance runs January 9th, 2010 through March 31st, 2010. There will be no classes January 23rd, 25th, 26th and 27th. Also, no classes March 15th through March 20th during Spring Break.
Spring Semester runs April 1st, 2010 through June 6th, 2010. 10 weeks of classes and rehearsals culmintes in the a spring showcase.

Starting January 12th, Jen Hoeft is adding two new FUNdamental Fitness classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 to introduce her unique fitness approach. |

Second Story is an historic, neighborhood dance studio in West Nashville, reopened in 2007 by long-time Nashville dancer and teacher, Marci Murphree.
A wrought-iron stairway leads students up to a safe haven for fun and learning with some of the most dedicated, innovative and caring teachers you’ll find anywhere.
The collective of experienced instructors work independently in a variety of movement-related arts, but share an approach to teaching that recognizes the mind, body, spirit connection in every discipline.

DANCE - The goal of the dance program is to develop the artist in every student. Classes are designed to balance exercises that build strength, flexibility, coordination and stamina with opportunities for students to express themselves freely and confidently at every level. Modern/contemporary, Ballet, Creative Dance, Jazz and Tap for most ages.
YOGA classes invite students to begin or continue their evolving practice at their own pace. The certified instructors provide individualized attention and actively renew their own practice throughout the year at seminars and retreats to bring you their best. FUNdamental Fitness, a hybrid fitness program designed and led by Jen Hoeft, appeals to busy, well-informed individuals who consider fitness a FUNdamental part of life. Combining the best of many forms (Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics and Strength training) to maintain a complete, balanced fitness regime with a playful attitude.
